The second week of the 2026 NFL season is complete, but featured some tough days for a few long snappers.

Texans snapper Austin Brinkman has a bad field goal snap and last year’s Mannelly Award winner Beau Gardner has struggled with short snaps with the Bears that could lead to a snapping change in Chicago,

Week Two also brought the first snapping move, as Scott Daly was added to the Saints roster after a tryout that included Luke Basso and Niko Lalos. Zach Wood was placed on injured reserve.

Tucker Addington was able to snap from Miami this week after a shoulder injury in Week One but the Dolphins added Cal Adomitis to the practice squad as a precautionary measure.

Week Two included three snappers recording tackles in punt coverage, with Andrew DePaola (Vikings) recording a solo tackle and Thomas Hennessy (Jets) and Ross Matiscik (Jaguars) adding assisted tackles.
