After some stability at the snapping position, Week Eight saw veteran snapper Jake McQuaide make his return to the Rams. McQuaide, who has two prior stints with the Rams, replaced injured Joe Cardona, who has an ankle injury.

It was an active week for snappers making an impact in punt coverage, as six snappers recorded tackles. Christian Kuntz (Steelers) and Rocco Underwood (Eagles) had solo tackles, while Reid Ferguson (Bills), Rex Sunahara (Browns), Josh Harris (Chargers) and Julian Ashby (Patriots) each tallied an assisted tackle.
