Week Three in Review

After a wild few weeks at the snapping position, things may be stabilizing after Week Three.

Heading into this week, the Bears waiver rookie Beau Gardner and claimed their former snapper, Scott Daly, from the Saints practice squad after Daly snapped for New Orleans in Week Two. That move caused a chain reaction that led the Saints to claim Cal Adomitis from the Dolphins practice squad.

The Dolphins and Chargers each had tryouts before Week Three that led to temporary practice squad signings. The Dolphins worked out Luke Basso and Tyler Duzansky before signing Basso to the practice squad. The Chargers worked out Jacob Bobenmoyer and client Spencer Triplett and signed Triplett to the practice squad. Both Basso and Triplett were let go shortly after signing. The only other snapper workout from last week was the Vikings, who worked out Niko Lalos.

Three snappers recorded tackles in punt coverage this week, with Nick Moore (Ravens) and Ben Mann (Giants) adding solo stops and Joe Cardona (Rams) tallying an assisted tackle.
