Week One of the college football season is complete and the season is off to a great start with some fantastic games and finishes.
To celebrate college football’s return, below is the annual chart containing Longsnap.com’s exclusive compilation of the long snapper for each FBS team. As usual, the list is sorted by conference and includes the snapper’s uniform number, height, weight and class year.
Note that some teams did not publish an official depth chart, while others listed two snappers or divide the punt and placement snaps between two players. In each case, best efforts were made to include the punt snapper to start the first game and the snapper that performs punt snaps is included over the short snapper.
All but one of the snappers on the 2022 Patrick Mannelly Award Watch List are listed as the starting snappers for their team and four of them (Alex Ward-UCF; Evan Deckers-Duke; Michael Vinson-Notre Dame; and Matt Hembrough-Oklahoma State) were included on the East-West Shrine Bowl 1000 List of the top NFL Draft prospects. Rex Goossen of UNLV is still recovering from a late season knee injury last year so is not the chart below, but is on both the Mannelly Award Watch List and East-WestShrine Bowl 1000 List.
