Week Eleven is complete and there was nearly a temporary change at snapper for the Chargers. Cole Mazza was suffering from an illness that jeopardized his ability to play last night. As a precaution, the Chargers worked out Matt Overton and Garrison Sanborn before signing Overton. Once it became clear Mazza could play, Overton was released.
The Giants and Dolphins each added potential future snappers to their practice squads, as the Giants signed Colin Holba and the Dolphins added linebacker/snapper Jake Carlock. Before signing Holba, the Giants also worked out Dan Godsil and Drew Scott.
Just one snapper, Trent Sieg of the Raiders, recorded a tackle in punt coverage as he tallied an assisted tackle. The NFL Long Snappers Chart after Week Eleven is below.
