Week Nine in Review

Week Nine of the NFL season was a quiet one for snappers, although there were still many missed field goals and extra points.  It appeared Giants veteran Zak DeOssie may have had some issues with his short snaps last night on Monday Night Football.

There was some off-field news for LP Ladouceur of the Cowboys, as it was made public that the Canadian citizen had become a citizen of the United States.  For Ladouceur, the entire process took about six years.

I inadvertently left out a workout of three snappers the Texans conducted after Jon Weeks was injured during his Week Seven game.  Weeks was able to finish the game and snap in Week Eight.  As a precaution, however, the Texans worked out Matt Overton, Andrew DePaola and Wes Farnsworth.

Two snappers, James Winchester (Chiefs) and Rick Lovato (Eagles), recorded solo tackles in punt coverage.  The NFL Long Snappers Chart after Week Nine is below.
