One Snapper Drafted; Three Sign Free Agent Contracts

A snapper was drafted for the fourth consecutive season as the Packers drafted Mississippi State’s Hunter Bradley in Round Seven.  Three other rookie snappers, Tanner Carew  (Oregon-Seahawks), Trent Sieg (Colorado State-Ravens) and Lucas Gravelle (TCU-Dolphins), signed free agent contracts immediately after the conclusion of the Draft.

There will likely be another 15 or more snappers that will get tryout opportunities in rookie mini-camps, either this coming weekend or the following weekend.  Longsnap.com will track all of the tryouts and provide a post with all of the known tryouts.  Many teams do not publicize the tryout players, so any long snapper that has earned a mini-camp invite can email the information to me at kevingold@longsnap.com
