Overton Featured in Sounds of the Game

About the Blog

Although Longsnap.com has covered virtually every imaginable aspect of the long snapping position since its creation in 2000, one thing that has not been addressed is the actual sounds of an NFL game from the snapper’s perspective.

Colts.com has fixed that problem by covering snapper Matt Overton in its Sounds of the Game feature.  The video is approximately three minutes of Overton’s experiences, from warm ups to the end of the game, thanks to a microphone he was wearing during last week’s win against the Giants.

For those looking for an audible view of the life of a snapper during an NFL game, the video is worth a look.
