Additional Snapping Transactions After the NFL Draft

It was a slow weekend for long snappers after the NFL Draft but at least one more college prospect has signed an undrafted free agent contract and another experienced snapper has earned a tryout.

Kansas State’s Randen Planner earned a contract with the Ravens, while Tucker Addington, who was recently released by the Commanders, has been invited to tryout with the Buccaneers.

There may be a few more tryouts announced with NFL rookie mini-camps taking place this weekend and the following weekend.

Latest Long Snapper Signings in Free Agency

It has been a busy start to veteran free agency at the long snapping position. Five more veteran snappers have signed new contracts and one will be the rare snapper to change teams.

Casey Kreiter (Giants), Rick Lovato (Eagles), Trent Sieg (Cowboys) and James Winchester (Chiefs) all signed one-year deals to remain with their clubs. Tyler Ott, who performed well replacing an injured Nick Moore in Baltimore, signed a three-year deal with the Commanders.
