Week Ten was a busy one for snappers and at special teams. Taybor Pepper of the Niners was in the media for his defense of his kicker against teammate Deebo Samuel after a few missed field goals. Special teams played in a key role in the Chiefs remaining undefeated, as they blocked a last-second field goal that would have won the game for the Broncos.
With Blake Ferguson still on injured reserve in Miami, Tucker Addington made his debut with the Dolphins after snapping for the Patriots in one game earlier in the year. The Dolphins previously used Matt Overton for a few weeks before making a change to Addington. Jake McQuaide made his debut with the Vikings with Andrew DePaola on injured reserve. Evan Deckers returned from injured reserve for the Bucs and Zach Triner was released.
Tryouts earlier in the week included Randen Plattner with Addington in Miami and Joe Shimko in Minnesota with McQuaide. Peter Bowden had a workout with the Jaguars and signed to their practice squad but was not activated.
Just one snapper, Scott Daly of the Bears, had a tackle in punt coverage with an assisted stop.
